As most of you know, there is nothing better than doing internships to solidify your desire to go into the veterinary field and to show future schools and employers that you have the necessary experience. All of that aside, finding internships can sometimes be a difficult task. Hopefully this page can help a little bit.

UConn offers it's own job/internship search engine where hopeful employers or dedicated staff at UConn post information about and links to internships. This is an excellent resource, because they're generally local and looking specifically for UConn students.
UConn offers it's own job/internship search engine where hopeful employers or dedicated staff at UConn post information about and links to internships. This is an excellent resource, because they're generally local and looking specifically for UConn students.
After you have created your HuskyCareerLink profile and account, go on HuskyCareerLinks. To locate Pre-Vet specific opportunities, go to the "Employers" button on the blue bar across the top and select "Employer Directory." Type "Pre-Vet" in the Keyword Search, then Search. When you click on "Pre-Veterinary Club Employers" and "Available Positions" you will be able to see the list of positions. This will allow you to contact prospective veterinary employers directly. You can also use the search tool to find jobs in related fields, like Healthcare and Animal Care.
